About Our Pups

ZORGS ROTTWEILERS occasionally have puppies available from top quality show winning, long established UK & European lines. All our breeding stock is x-rayed and scored under the British Veterinary Ass. & Kennel Club Hip & Elbow Dysplasia Scheme. We always breed from dogs that are below the BVA/KC recommended breed average score total of 13. Our dogs are also BVA/KC Eye Tested for MRD (Multifocal retinal dysplasia).and are all DNA profile certified by the UK Kennel Club, which is the only positive proof of ancestry (see 'fraudulent pedigree' page). They are DNA for coat length and DNA for JLPP. All are Microchipped and have sound, friendly natures which is essential and is passed on to their offspring.

Our pups are genuinely raised in our home for the full eight weeks, not shunted out to kennels or garage, adding to the general chaos of family life. They are introduced slowly to the other family pets ensuring pups learn how to interact readily with animals that they may encounter later in life. Being house reared they get used to home appliances, strange noises and happenings, different people and endless streams of children. How sociable a dog will be is determined by the experiences it has as a puppy, especially, it has been proved, those it has before the age of 12 weeks. We believe that by nurturing and socialising our pups in this manner we have started them on the right road to ensure that each individual pup has a friendly nature, bold, inquisitive and will, eventually, in the right hands, grow to become an excellent stable loyal companion.

All prospective owners are vetted on their first visit to ensure that they would make responsible owners, will be shown all health certifications of claimed health, see Mum & Dad then finally the pups. If all goes well a deposit secures a puppy, the remainder is paid on collection. Once the non-returnable deposit is paid they are free to visit the pups anytime prior to it 'flying the nest' at around eight weeks. Each pup goes away Kennel Club Registered with endorsements, fully wormed, frontlined, and microchipped, with a binder full of Kennel Club documents including Pedigree, a Contract of Care, advice and help sheets including numerous articles on training, socialising and canine logic. Food and 6 weeks insurance is also provided.

When pups are approximately 9-12 months of age all owners receive a questionnaire to complete about their pups progress, training, health and any other information that they would like to share with the other litter owners. This is compiled into a report of the whole litter and is sent to each owner along with a disc of pictures, requested by us, of each individual pup. From our experience we find that the owners are very interested in how the rest of their pup's siblings are developing. As a breeder this is vital, invaluable information which we incorporate into our breeding programme so as we can monitor any health issues or other problems which might occur. In this way we are able to give helpful knowledgeable advise to our owners and adjust our breeding plans if need be.

We are available 24 hours a day with our life long assistance or to any other Rottie owner with a problem offering help and advise if needed.
